Admissions
Program & Contact Information
Thank you for you interest in having your child attend Boulder Day Nursery. Here's what you should know about Boulder Day Nursery and the admissions process.
- Boulder Day Nursery provides full day care for children ages six weeks to six years,
- We are open weekdays, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We offer schedules of 5 days a week; 3 days (Mon/Wed/Fri); and 2 days Tues/Thurs).
- Program cost is set according to a sliding fee scale based on your household income. Boulder Day Nursery is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide high quality child care to lower-income working families, although diversity is a part of our mission and that includes socio-economic diversity so a small percentage of families are enrolled every year who are not considered low-income.
- We have a wait list for enrollment. The wait list and how long of a wait you'll have has many factors that we take in to consideration. Considerations can include, but may not be limited to, the age of the child in relationship to the opening; the gender or income makeup of the class; emergency placements; and, space availability - not just in the room that fits the age of your child currently, but in the other age groups as your child gets older. For example, there may be an opening in the Infant Room for your infant age child, but not in the Toddler Room by the time your child turns two. In other words, the length of time you've been on the waitlist is a definitely a primary consideration, but it is not a "first come, first served" situation.
- The first step for enrollment consideration is to come for a tour of the school. Reservations are required. Call Bethany, our Program Director, at 303.442.7605x2 to make a reservation. If you live out of town, call us and we can make special arrangements. You can also email Bethany from the Contact Page.
